Kelly's first love!
One of KLH's most popular classes and available for beginners from Yr3, right through to our competition teams.
One of the first classes many of our students ever took, Cheer is high energy and lots of fun.
And, yes, there are pom poms!
Contemporary and lyrical dance is fluid, dynamic and beautiful. Many of our contemporary dancers have studied this form of dance from beginner all the way to 'A' Level.
Got sass? Got attitude?
Then Street/Commerical is for you. KLH do classes for absolute beginners,
all the way to adults.
Hear that sound of dancing feet!
Tap classes are available for beginners from our Mini's and older beginners, as well as more established tappers.
And for the little ones?
Take your first steps with KLH; and experience all the fun and excitment of performing in our showcases too!
Our two-day workshops during school holidays are always hugely popular. Learn a dance routine in two days and then perform it in full costume and get your own DVD of the performance to show your friends and family.
KLH dancers perform at Let's Dance, Dance Active, Take Part and other events across Brighton. And there are always the KLH Showcases in the summer and at Christmas.
Our competitive squads are always hugely successful, winning trophies in almost all the categories our dancers enter: solos, duos, trios, large groups and street crews.
Kelly Haisell began dancing at the age of 3 in her home town of Peterborough, under the tuition of Sally Dennis (Fellow and Examiner IDTA).
At 18 she began taking her teaching examinations in all Theatre subjects and now currently teaches cheer, tap, commercial street, contemporary, technique and her absolute favourite, jazz.
After teaching for other dance schools, Kelly decided to start out on her own in 2013 creating KLH Dance. She now has 100+ students attending classes across the week ranging from the ages of 4 years old to adults.
